Module 6: Becoming the Kind of Person Who Follows Through (Automatically)

"Willpower is unreliable. Identity is unstoppable."

This is the turning point.

By now, you've proven that you're capable of rewiring your internal safety signals. You’ve experienced how quickly a new emotional state can be created. You’ve seen what happens when the subconscious receives clear, symbolic instructions from you.

But now we go deeper.

Because it’s one thing to feel confident or motivated for a moment. It’s another thing to become the kind of person who follows through automatically—without needing a pep talk every time.

Let’s do that now.

🧠 The Real Reason People Don’t Follow Through

Most people blame their lack of follow-through on laziness, fear, distraction, or overwhelm.

But here’s what almost no one realizes:

You will always act in a way that is consistent with who you believe you are.

That means…

  • If you identify as someone who procrastinates, you’ll keep doing it.
  • If you believe you’re not a "finisher," you’ll keep starting over.
  • If you see yourself as someone who always figures it out, then you will—even when it’s hard.

The difference isn’t motivation. It’s identity.

Willpower fades. Identity sticks.

So if you’ve been struggling to follow through on projects, habits, or goals—it’s not because you’re broken. It’s because your self-image hasn’t caught up to your potential yet.

Let’s fix that.

✍️ Rewire Exercise: Redefining Your Self-Image

Today’s exercise is deceptively simple but massively powerful.

Open your journal. Title this page: "The Kind of Person I Am Now"

Then write the following sentence, and finish it in your own words:

“From now on, I’m the kind of person who follows through because…”

Fill in the blank with whatever feels emotionally true for you. Here are some examples:

  • “…because my dreams deserve a closer.”
  • “…because the world needs what I have.”
  • “…because I refuse to let my old identity win.”

Now write 5–10 bullet points underneath this sentence:

“People like me…”

Examples:

  • “People like me take the first step.”
  • “People like me finish what we start.”
  • “People like me don’t wait for perfect conditions.”
  • “People like me use fear as a signal to go forward.”

This list becomes your identity primer. Reread it every day this week. Better yet, record yourself reading it out loud and listen to it on repeat.

Let it get into your system. Let your subconscious hear it enough times to believe it’s already true.

If it feels awkward at first—good. That means you’re stretching your identity. You’re creating space for the person you’re becoming.

Even if this doesn’t feel true yet, your subconscious will begin adjusting once it hears it enough times.

🧭 Why This Works:

Every action you take either reinforces an old identity or builds a new one.

This lesson flips the switch. It makes “follow through” part of your core wiring.

Instead of fighting for motivation, you’re now acting in alignment with who you believe you are.

And once the subconscious believes, it stops resisting.

It starts helping.

By now, you've no doubt realized that communicating with the subconscious is way different than just speaking to someone in a different language. In a way, it's not a language at all but a whole new way of getting your points across. It's really a lot like communicating with an alien from another planet! It doesn't understand your conscious logic. It doesn't even care one iota if you're slowly starving to death. All it knows is that if you leave the cave to find food, you might get killed, so it puts up barriers to keep you inside. That's why we need to communicate with it in the way it understands. To show it that it's less risky to go outside.

How we do that sometimes seems silly. It feels embarrassing. It often feels like your message isn't getting across at first. But this quirky, silly method is proven over & over to be the very best way of getting to the subconscious with the beliefs that let you become the best that you can be!

🧪 Where This Science Is Already Working

If part of you still wonders whether this really works, consider this:

Subconscious rewiring techniques—just like the ones you’re using—are already being used by:

  • Olympic athletes to sharpen focus and bounce back from failure
  • Trauma therapists to help patients rewire emotional triggers
  • Top sales performers to remove self-doubt and boost close rates
  • CEOs and founders to overcome impostor syndrome
  • Public speakers to build unstoppable confidence on stage
  • Navy SEALs to create calm in high-stakes chaos

And those are just the documented cases.

The truth? These methods work. They’re just not widely taught this clearly.

But now they’re in your hands.

🎉 Look How Far You’ve Come

If you’ve done every lesson and every journal prompt so far: Well done. You’re no longer the same person who started this course.

You’ve shifted identity. You’ve spoken directly to your subconscious in its native language—emotion, symbol, and repetition.

If you want a fun anchor: Go buy a congratulations card from the store. Make it out to your subconscious. Write a little note thanking it for cooperating and helping you build your dream life. Sign it with your own name. Then display that card where you’ll see it often.

This may seem silly—but remember: Your subconscious speaks symbol, not logic. It’ll understand.

✍️ Keep using your journal. This isn’t a note-taking course. This is an identity-rewiring experience. Keep treating it that way.

🛑 Don’t skip ahead. Don’t binge. Don’t say “I get it” and move on.

Do the work. Daily.

Now, if you’ve just been watching these videos without doing the work, you’ve already set yourself up for failure.

Your subconscious doesn’t change by learning what to do. It changes by having these steps done to it.

So if that’s you—go back. Start from Lesson 1. Follow the instructions. You’ll move faster by doing it right than you ever will by rushing.

(If you have been doing the journaling and exercises—keep going. You're doing it exactly right.)

 Your Next Identity Layer:

In Lesson 7, we’ll lock in your transformation. We’ll add the final layer of belief that makes your new self-image automatic.

You’re not just someone who takes action.

You’re someone who attracts success like it’s inevitable.

See you there.
